So I stand here now, at the cusp of a new dawning time
Every season is a new change
every new moment, is a moment I didn't have before.
I'm moving forward without looking behind
I won't be peering over my shoulder any longer
No more dwelling on the time I had before
I'm taking steps to further enlightenment
and I'm leaving the past behind
I'm making choices primarily for me
I'm ready and full of strength
For the first time in my life
I'm feeling confident and at peace
I'm my own woman and I'm so full of dreams.
